#28. Michael Broughton - How and where to invest in sports to drive growth ?


Michael Broughton is a 20-year-experienced sports consultant specialised in tech, finance, investment and data and has been keen enough to accept our invitation to our new LeCorner episode.  

Michael has occupied senior management roles giving him a unique perspective on the executive capabilities of the sports sector. He has worked closely with clients like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, The FA, and Honda Racing F1, amongst others. From 2018-20 Michael was also leading the Technology and Investment Strategy at FIFA.

During his discussion with Samuel Westberg, he shared an insightful analysis of how sports organisations should consider investing in specific departments to develop new revenue streams and further enhance their activities. 

From the Web3 opportunities to data, Michael delivered an excellent overview of where sports organisations can invest in the following years and the most common factors holding them back.
