Canal+ streaming service adds LiveLike interactive functions
The French pay-TV operator Canal + integrated the LiveLike Audience Engagement Suite into its platform to add an interactive experience with live Polls, quizzes, sentiment sliders, etc. on top of their live sports content. This interactive experience can be found in Canal + Expert Mode.
With this new partnership, LiveLike grows its portfolio which is already featuring Sky, Turner and FloSports LikeLike’s suite of live polls, quizzes, predictions and alerts were made available during Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-0 win over Rennes on 7th November.
Canal+ says it will add further interactive and social viewing features to the MyCanal service in the future. LiveLike’s SaaS toolkit includes features such as spoiler-free co-watching, gamification, interactivity, influencer-led chats and brand integration opportunities. In the UK, pay-TV broadcaster Sky Sports uses the platform to enhance its digital Premier League offering, while in the US Turner Sports deploys it to enhance the network’s digital National Basketball Association (NBA) coverage.
